I didn't get time to make that post, because I went to Mexico! It was so fun. I spent my New Year's Eve on a cruise with my family. Pretty much every family on the cruise was in the show place; tons of people there. There was a band on the stage, and like around 200 people got up there and danced for like an hour. And "The Final Countdown" by Europe was playing and it was so epic and there was free champagne and everyone was wearing all sorts of crazy party hats and tiaras and those ruffly plastic colorful necklaces from Hawaii and everyone was cheering and making noises by blowing on those cardboard trumpets, or whatever they are and I felt like crying right there because of everything that happened in 2008 and my family was right beside me and everyone was smiling and I also felt like crying because I made so many new friends, and they are so much funner than my friends at school and I know that I'll never see these people again and I wanted to cry really badly, but I was really happy so the tears couldn't really come out, but I was so sad. I miss them so much, but I think it's incredibly stupid that some people in my age group (12-14 year olds; we had this program thing for kids of different ages on the cruise) became boyfriend and girlfriend on the last night of the cruise cos they're not gonna see each other again.
Oh! And also after the New Year celebration, it was like 2 AM in the morning and everyone felt drunk and hyper after the free champagne and loud music and my friends and I went to the older kids place and I saw this boy and a girl... dancing... they looked about 16 or so and I have to say I am scarred for life. I never saw anything like it, not even in those trashy music videos, but this boy and girl were like... EW. But, my friends and I went to the older teens place and we started screaming and cheering and everyone looked at us like we were insane, and we were, and I remember thinking I will never forget this moment with my friends. I love them so much. So yeah, the last night, I spent my night with my friends and we were talking and we exchanged emails.
Anyways, I'm so excited for spring/summer because I can go to the hat shop at Granville Island and wear one of those old style hats without people thinking I'm "out of it", not that I care what other people think, but you know what I mean. I'm feeling energetic because I chugged two cans of Red Bull and I'm shaking, so I guess I should stop typing before I type an essay.
Marc Jacobs
I forgot what designer this is, but it's from spring/summer 2009, so it's all good.
By the way, Happy New Year!

Those kind of moments, screaming your head off with friends, actting silly and living life to the fulliest with any worry that's how people your age should live.
Those are the moments that are gonna stick with you when you get older.

Hey Jenn long time no blog
In case you didn’t get the memo: this week http://fashionwithfifi.com/ is giving away OCC Lip Tarts! They’re also hosting a contest every week as well. They’ve created a Contest Page just so that you’ll know what contest and/or give away is currently running. I'd thought you may want to participate. Spread the word and mention Fashionwithfifi’s OCC Lip Tarts – Makeup Review & Contest. They have lots of goodies to give away.
